It is no accident that we use Merino wool for our Scandinavian base layer thermals. merino wool is heat insulating, super soft with natual elasticity and is incredibly durable - it is the only natural fibre which can absorb and contain up to 40% humidity without feeling wet (cotton contains up to 7%). Woollen underwear does not need to be washed as often as underwear made from other fibres. Very easy to put on and take off. An essential if you are heading to Lapland or out on the slopes.
